InsomAniac speaks for itself. I've had issues sleeping since I was in primary school, which then evolved through my teenage years and student days, and now is just a part of how I live. I'll exist on five or so hours a night, which I know isn't healthy and has a pretty solid impact on my mood every day.

The song deals with my anger of being unable to rest, as well as going through the things my brain - much like everyone else's - does while trying to sleep. Intentionally or not, I'll mentally revisit things I wish I could change over the last few years, and ultimately it prevents me sleeping even more. I'll often scroll endlessly through social media in the early hours too, which is never a good tactic.

The 'No Sleep' lyrics - while still aligning with the theme of this song - are references to one of my favourite albums by Volumes.
