Fix is about an attitude or view I developed of myself over a period of time. I'd repeatedly hurt important people in my life, and after the dust settled one particular occasion I came to realise it was always down to my own bad decision-making, and my own failings as a human being.
The lyrics reflect the mindset I grew into: one of feeling like I'll never be able to truly change who I am as a person. Sure, behaviour can improve, but aren't we all still the same deep down at the end of it all? Can any of us actually become better people?
I felt unable to keep falling into the same patterns every time, and the frustration would boil over until I ended up feeling utterly hopeless.
Despite being the first track on the EP, it was the last one to be written and recorded.

LYRICS
When do I call it quits?
'cause I'm fed up with this.
Undeniably I'm the root of it.
I'm just so sick of me.
I've lost count of how many times I let you down.
I can't even begin to forgive myself now.
Sometimes I think I've changed, and then I'll make the same mistake again.
Press repeat. Press repeat.
Why can't I be a better me?
Punching the walls until my knuckles bleed.
Punish myself until I am at a peace.
Where's my fix? Where is my repair?
Where's my fix? Where is my repair?
Where's my fix? But do I even care?
Break me down, piece by piece and leave my carcass for the vultures to feast on what's left of me.
I can't be fixed.
